HELP! NEED TO KNOW IF IT'S SAFE

I gave my son eggs to eat
I think my chickens might have coccidosis.
They haven't been treated yet
Are they safe to eat

Were they cooked? If so, no problems. If I thought they had coccidiosis, I'd be sure not to serve up runny yolks though, and I'd wash the eggs before cracking them. What makes you think the girls have coccidiosis???

Coccidiosis is not a disease, it is an overload of a protozoa in their bodies. Usually coccidiosis occurs in young birds, as older birds have developed their immunity to it. What makes you think they have coccidiosis? The eggs are fine to eat.

This is a little long
All has happened within 2 weeks.
One day I saw what looked like blood in 2 nest boxes. When I went out to gather the eggs
One of them was huge in the box. And one dead chicken dead on the floor. Checked her over real well couldn't find a thing wrong. 2 days later For 2 days after that normal size eggs. The third day found another huge egg in the nest. All chickens were up and running around as normal. Something told me 2 hours later to go check the chickens. Again found one dead on floor. Checked this one dead on floor. Looked like dried blood around and on vent area. All were eating and drinking good. Wendsay went out to gather eggs. Have a 7 pound feeder and it was still full from Tuesday. All eggs were normal size. the only thing strange was the feeder was full. Went out Thursday today and ALL food gone out of feeder but got 2 huge eggs out of a total of 6 have 8 chickens. All I saw was real dark stool on ground
One of the chickens was on the roost shaking it's head more than normal. All feather on chicken bright and shinny except
one of them looked a little dull. Checked the chickens over for lice and mites. None found. The chickens are 8 months old now. Also have a large run but it's just muddy now
