Help, need waterer for mama hen gone mad lol

When I tried to take the water dish out this am she about killed me. Is there a waterer that I can refill from the outside ?

I got a rabbit watering bottle, hope that works. I can't put anything big in there because of the little chicks and they keep getting shavings in it. So maybe the bottle will work.

Make sure they all use it.

I use a standard chick waterer, that yes, needs to be cleaned often since mom is always kicking dirt about.

Use a large pot lid as a shield.

If mom's view of you is blocked, it is usually easier to tend to them.

I use nipple waterers. The one I have been using most for chicks is just a 20 oz juice bottle with a nipple I added to the bottom. I can remove it to fill it, but I could easily take off the bottle lid and fill it from outside the brooder by adding a funnel.

Well, I still manage to get the water dish in there, just kinda wait till the chicks aren't right there. I guess the rabbit bottle can be for back-up. Before she went broody she was such a sweet hen lol.
