I posted this in the wrong thread and someone suggested that I post it here to see if I can get some additional help.
I received an email from a friend of mine yesterday and they are in a tough spot, in need of assistance.
My friend's had a pair of Brown China Geese and a couple weeks ago some kids shot & killed the gander. Apparently the goose is not handling it well at all and is not doing well. My friend is trying to find a mature gander to replace her mate with but is unable to locate one.
If any of you guys & gals know where she can purchase a mate - or even another female for companionship (as was suggested in the other thread) please let me know ASAP.
Also if you have suggestions that would help things out in the meantime, please let me know. It was recommended to me that she should give the goose some vitamins in her water and perhaps that would de-stress her.
Any thoughts?
