Help needed for Polish please

Thank you so much and thank you for the ovation. I could just sit and look at these babies forever. I so adore all chickens but these are so special.

Not sure if it is just me or not but they don't chirp loudly or often. I never mind the chirping but they are much more quiet I think. I just want to learn all I can about this breed as I am in love.
Any words of advice or special tips you may have are more than welcomed. They appear healthy in every way. Hatch was picture perfect.
Thanks again for all of your help, Kelly

Hello Yorkshire !!! The baby polish are growing so nicely. They celebrated their 3 week birthday this past Friday. I am typing from my computer or I would post a pic. I usually post this through my phone.

I have one lonely hen, Claire that is outside in the coop and she is 13 weeks old. She is an EE. Do you think I could introduce my polish to her successfully down the road?

I recently had to send my Roosters to a no kill 4H farm because of my dumb city ordinance and eventually want to introduce the polish to my Claire my lonely hen. Wondered if you had any thoughts as I know you have introduced them to others.

I introduced two groups before putting the group inside of caging inside of the coop and let them get to know each other for three weeks first through caging and even at that their was some pecking but no boo boo's at face to face time. I don't want these polish hens hurt. They are the most precious things in the world. They wont go to sleep at night until I snuggle them first for a while :)

Any way my Dad wanted one and my sister and now I don't think they should be separated either, they love each other. And I love them so the next question is how are they when living with other chickens alone?
I have learned that chickens have huge hearts and they grieve when their friends leave to the point of crying (When the roosters left) So any insight you have please dish it right on out. I will post pics of my wonderful babies in a little while. Thanks again for any help.

Sorry I'm so late getting back, been a mad week here!

I'm so pleased they are doing well, it really is wonderful news :clap

They sure can get on with another chicken but there is always the risk of the other breed getting over interested in their crest. As they are so fancy other chickens can start pecking at them. This may or may not happen. Will your dad and sister be keeping them with other chickens?

Not the greatest pics but all I could find here at work. Thanks for getting back to me and never worry about how long it takes, I have taken five days to get back here. I am now going on here to try to see at what age we can sex these beautiful kids. I think I have two roo's and a pullet. Two are bigger and have different feathering with black in the front of their top hats and the smaller one has all white in the top hat.
Ok this is a silly question but do the roosters crow as loud as the other breeds?? I want all three to stay with me :) I am in love.
If you can sex by pic I will take full frontal pics to see if you can tell. They are 5 weeks old. They will be six weeks on Friday.

They are looking great :D

5 weeks is a tad early to tell sex of them yet. If you could post some full pics of them that would be great, include the tail as well as this can often be a good give away as to sex. Any wattles on them yet?

I'm afraid yes they do crow as loud as a other breeds :(
