Help needed with pip at the wrong end

I have a Black Orpington that cracked the egg today at the wrong egg + it is two days earlier than planned. First time hatching Orpingtons and they are expensive, don't want to lose the chick, what do I do?

From my experience there isn’t much you can do except wait and see what happens.

I will wait another day, as it is too early anyway... and then what?

Keep a close eye on it. Not a lot you can do unless it ends up needing assistance. What I have read most do need help when at the wrong end.

That doesn't look like a pip to me. It looks like a feather. Is that the egg in question?

I risked, opened the incubator and indeed - a feather! PHEW!!!!!!
Thank you for pointing! I think I am a bit too worried as it is the first time I hatch black Orpingtons.

Yay! I'm so happy it's not cracked. You're doing great. Ask as many questions as you need to! Hatching is pretty stressful. Even if you've been doing it awhile.
