Help Needed

Hi, I have a hen who has lost lots of feathers in one spot in the center of her back.
Can anyone help me? This is the first time I have seen this and I am new to all this.
She is about 9 months old. Not sure what the problem is.
Any and all advice is appreciated.

Hi

Have you checked for mites and lice? Mites in your coop and lice on your bird. They could be bothering her and she is plucking them out if they are irritating her. It could also be that other birds are feather pecking her, does she have other flock members? Have you seen any ullying behaivour going on?
