I’ve ordered 6 dark Brahma hatching eggs to come next week, I will be putting them under my broody RIR hen. I’m becoming Brahma obsessed

Brahma grow slow..males seem to feather slower than the females. I'm not so sure you have a roo..i don't see the feathering like a roo..the long pointy ones. Some of my hens have rose combs to, but not as big as the males. Here are some good pics of my dark brahma hens @1 yr so u can see the feathering and comb/wattles

I agree that they do grow slow but the wattles on her brahma at 10 weeks old are bigger than the wattles on my Brahma hen at 25 weeks old.

At what age did you start getting eggs from them ? my Brahma is 25 weeks and theres no eggs from her yet !

I'm brahma obsessed to! I have humongous partridge brahma and dark brahma..theycare all hugh...heres a good pick if my blue partridge hens..i love them. I sell eggs to...right now they r taking a break due to moulting...i just hatched a bunch of chicks...im hoping to get a blue partridge roo to set with blue hens...
