My chicks are a few days old and found 1 that cannot straighten its legs and crawls. Another cannot walk and just rolls.
is there anything I can do?
I am scared they get trampled
I am still waiting for the brooder kit to arrive
this is my first time

Awful as it sounds, decapitation is, in my opinion, the quickest, most humane way. Especially with little ones like that. @lazy gardener has a way where you don’t have to see anything. I’ll try to describe it and hope she chimes in if I get it wrong. You take a paper lunch bag and a paper towel. Wrap the chick in the towel, hold the head over the bag and snip with a sharp scissors or garden nipper. Then put everything in the bag. It’s hard to kill a fuzzy baby chick, but not letting them suffer is part of animal husbandry. Those animals are dependent on us for their health and well-being. It’s our responsibility to do what is best for them and not what makes us feel good.
