Gender is hard to tell for several weeks. I can usually tell mine by 5-6 weeks, based on comb size and personality. To be absolutely positive, I would wait until they’re a few weeks older.

What personalities does male and female have?

The combs on the cockerels develop sooner. It helps if you have both genders to compare one with the other. Cockerels tend to be a bit more bold, curious and more likely to move toward to than away from you, appearing to be “friendly”. (Really, he’s not being friendly - he’s trying to show you that he’s in charge.)
