Help needed

My girls like the comics section. Lol I just leave a few sections in the run. They do the rest.

Hi, as they love to dig, any dead leaves, grass clippings (if your lawn is being mowed). Anything they can rummage about in, dig and make holes in. Newspaper, as suggested earlier, shredded would be wonderful with treats put into it. Maybe if you grated the cabbage + carrot they might find it more fun.Even if some pellets are scattered .Feel sure they will be busy for hours. Chickens are competitive so if one comes across something, the others will want it too.
I feel sure any of the Sunday papers will do!

thought I’d just let you know that hubby and I walked up to the woods( we live in the Forest of Dean UK)
We filled 3 black bin bags with leaf litter
What fun, the girls coo’d ad they scratched and spent well over an hour digging and searching for those pesky critters
Took loads of photos

So happy to know they had fun. They can be a choosy lot. They will probably show huge appreciation for bin liners from now on. Trouble is when you put your rubbish out now they will think more treats on the way! I am laughing as I can see it happening!!
