HELP! New hova-bator incubator

But Digital seems so convenient at first... and it is. But its like hiring drug addict employee.. they start out doing great then they get erratic.

Right!

When I first decided to hatch, I bought one of those plastic yellow Chinese jobs, because, "It's all digital! Set and forget! This is great!" And I soon learned better. Then I started researching (like I should have done in advance) and found myself an incubating group on Facebook. Got the 1602n and never looked back.

oh man so much research I should have been doing before I started my incubator. However research without experience leads me to reading and not understanding why I read. I got lucky and never had a digital incubator, and it was luck because I could have easily gotten a digital one first.

I needed a second incubator fast and did end up buying a digital 1588 from the breeder I was frequenting, and it does work. I trust it slightly more than the off the shelf ones at the farm store, but I just don't quite trust it completely. Thus, I mainly use it for a hatcher, or for full runs where I'm not as invested in the outcome.
