So I'm new to being a chicken mum but have inherited 4 beautiful baby hens, I currently have them in my living room in a what used to be gerbil cage with a "farm" heat lamp above it, my girls are nearly 2 weeks old and already seem to have a lot of feathers and trying to fly!
My problem is one in particular seems to be the "runt" if that's what you call it! She's slightly smaller than the rest and the rest seem to huddle together to sleep but she sleeps on her own, is this normal or do I really need to help her with everything, I love my new girls and have been changing bedding daily and food and water every few hours (my husband thinks I'm crazy changing it this often) and I'd hate to think anything would happen to her! I haven't noticed any injuries to her but i am worried about her any help appreciated
