HELP!! Newbie question--How do chicks sleep???

I love watching chicks sleep. I have seen them running around, then just suddenly stop and lay right there. Some stretch out, some ball up, it just dependings what they decide.

I really don't like those that fall asleep at the waterer. They just lay down and prop their heads up on the edge. I had to wake a couple this year. Their beaks had slid down into the water. One was blowing bubbles with each breath. Another millimeter and it would have sucked water into it's lungs. Even with marbles they still manage to do this. After 7 years of chicks it still worries me.

Running a little too hot there. Make sure they have plenty of space to get away from the heat lamp. I used to brood at 95F the first week, but now I start at 90F. And have a warm end and a cool end in the brooder.

Congrats on the new chicks!

The feed store I go to has "chick waterers", which are tiny bases that screw onto a mason jar. Best $2 I ever spent, a lot less than me having a heart attack.
