Help! no eggs! and molting!

Yes, they laid an egg almost every day in spring/summer.They were also hatched in fall by a friend.

Most likely since winters coming they’ve stopped laying.

does anybody think its because of the light?

Some people do add light, I don't so I am not sure, but I think that if they have actually stopped laying, it takes quite a while for the effect of adding light to kick in and get eggs.

I live in western SD, and I generally start seeing eggs around end of January to mid Feb.
