Thanks my quail laid an egg today so I put him in the incubator and he will be my rainbow baby also do button quail lay on there eggs because one of mine seems to always be on the nest never flipped the eggs and if I try to get them she attacks me and flys up in my face and makes a pound noise so I don’t know what to do with taht

It wasn't hatch time.
Buy a thermometer and calibrate it when you buy the humidity gauge. You can not trust the incubator's built-in instruments.

I am not one of the experts, but it sounds like she is broody and you could leave the egg and just let the hen hatch it. As long as they are safe from other fowl or preditors, like mice and rats
