HELP Not sure what to do next!

I float tested my eggs that are at day 23 today. No rocking, but they moved across the surface of the water slowly. All floated with just a small amount of egg above the surface. I put them back in the incubator, but I'm not sure what to do next...should I open one or two a little or just let them go??

If they are not even peeping yet, they do not stand a chance if you open them. Even just a little.

Even though it's hard, I'd let them go, and save up for another batch. If they do not live, You can do

an 'eggtopsy' in a few days if your up for it, and see if you can find out why they died.

Have you ever candled before? Have you tried candling these eggs?

I have candled eggs before, but I am having a hard time with these since the shells are so dark (they are cuckoo marans eggs). I guess I'll just wait a couple more days and hope for the best....
