I have 2 older ducks one is male and one is female. They are about 3-5 years old. I got 3 baby ducks about 3 months ago and they are now ready to be outside with the older ducks. The older male duck is called snappy because before he would come up to us and snap at the back of our pants. Now all he does is chase the ducklings around and mount them. 2 are crested and one is a Peking duck. They are scared to death of him and the female duck. The female duck will fluff up and chase them off, but is not as aggressive as snappy. The older ducks are separated from the younger ducks by a wire fence, but are still very intimidated by the older male duck. I'm at a complete loss and can't put them together because I worry about the younger ducks safety. Please help!!

You should keep them separate but able to see each other to acclimate them, but you also need to wait til your new ducks are mature before putting in with older ones so they don't get injured by Drake.

It's breeding season and I am sure your Drake is a bit hormonal..;).....Your Hen is being boss Hen and Being they have only been together they do not like the peeping from the Ducklings...It might never workout with them..:(
You will have to wait till the Ducklings are older and be prepared for a few fights, lots of neck tying and chasing...;)....Right now I have to keep all my Drakes separate or my older Larger Drake would kill my other Drakes and breed all my other Hens....;).....

Good luck..:)

Cheers!
