Help on gender Please!

Hello, we just got this barred rock from someone who admitted he didn't know if it was a hen or rooster. "It" is about two month old. We are wondering if anyone could help with this mystery. It looks like a rooster to me becuase of the tail feathers but I am no expert. Please give me your opinions. Thanks!

It's male and not a barred rock or not a pure one. Might be a cuckoo marans or mixed breed barred bird.
