I have a 6 month old Dominique rooster. I would love to breed him but I was wondering if anyone has knowledge on breeding and wry tails. Is a wry tail a constant position? The rooster I have seems to hold his tail strait sometimes and to the side at others. I was reading that wry tail is like a broken finger, and so that makes me think it stays in that crooked position. Here are some pictures. The first three are him with the crooked tail position and the last three are more strait. Also, I didn’t get a photo, but sometimes he holds it more crooked. I tried to feel his spine. I don’t exactly feel it but nothing there seems out of place.

His isn't as extreme as some, but if it's pretty constant, it's a structural problem that can breed on. It could be seen on Xray, because it should be spine or pelvis, as I understand it.
More opinions needed here!
