Help on what kinda silky/what the roo's should look like for his kind!

    I posted a picture earlier.. but now I am curious to what my silks might be.. and if my rooster is well, "good" enough for breeding?? I think he is gorgeous and I don't plan on showing right now, but I do want too eventually! Could someone post a reply on what a pretty roo for silks would look like? Thank you!![​IMG]

    That one there sure looks HANDSOME but you need matching hens as well. I'm not sure, but I have seen different varieties of silkies and not just color, but these had no fur ( I know its a different variety of feather on silkies) on their necks. If you are interested in showing your birds, then get in touch with the places that shows are held, and find out rules and such. You may get into it pretty deep and invest in show quality breeding stock. I know that if I was to show any of my hens, they would let loose their dogs on me.
