HELP!! One chick pecking others eye, seems to really be hurting her!!

I have a new pair of chicks to replace the ones we had pass on, and one of them is an Australorp with a white ring around one of its eyes. They’re both newborns, and the other is pecking the Australorp’s eye and egg tooth. Every time she pecks the Australorp screams and runs, and the other chases. Other chick is a SLW. We never had this with our previous batch of four. Help!! The SLW also seems to be screaming with little reason.

Hang a mirror and put feed on the paper towel you probably are using or a margarine lid so the have something else to focus on. It only lasts a few days till they learn what's food and what isn't..

Seperate them somehow, either with awire partition, or seperate brooder.
