May I ask why you decided to put her in the shoe braces. How long after she hatched did you put her in them.

She couldn't walk at all, and I felt terrible. She kept falling onto her back like a beetle. I didn't want her to hurt herself,or to stay permanently unbalanced. I also admit I overreacted a bit with all that stuff I put on her. I've been up for the past three nights with these eggs, and needless to say, I'm a little overtired. So,in my sleepy haze, I thought it a good idea to help her out. But I did take your opinion into perspective and removed the shoes and sling. She's doing much better now.May I ask why you decided to put her in the shoe braces. How long after she hatched did you put her in them.
OH GREAT!!!!!!!! I am soooooo happy to hear that. I have often had babies hatch out that roll around like beatles to begin with. It scares me to death every time but, I force myself to walk away and let them be. Usually I come back and with in a couple of hours to a day they are walking around doing just fine. Just takes them a minute to straighten out there legs and all. I have in the past when this has happened hurried and put on a shoe and honestly when I took it off the leg ended up worse. I always kick myself in the hiney about that one. I really think the weight of the shoes on their little tiny legs can make things worse and usually they will straighten out on their own. Anyway as I said that is my opinion from my experiences. I am sure there are others who will disagree. I am so glad to hear your little ones are doing well. She couldn't walk at all, and I felt terrible. She kept falling onto her back like a beetle.
