I walked into the coop the other morning and found my hen in a predicament and I'm wondering...

Did she hear me call it a 'chicken saddle' and decided it needed a bit?

Or is this the rare and dreaded Atomic Chicken Wedgie?!

She had somehow gotten her head through the tail loop on her saddle. Don't worry though she was fine! Although I was pretty grossed out by the chicken slobber on the 'bit', ewww.

Thanks for the compliments on her, she is one of my prettiest girls. She was (of course!) a cute chick...

But she was even adorable as an akward teenager!

Her father is a Buff Orp and her mom's a Barred Rock. I also have her brother Leif who is one of the handsomest roosters I've ever had.
