It is flush free type. Finest nutrition brand. I have already given him some... is it lethal for them

The problem with flush free is it's time released and will be passed thru his system before he can absorb any. Don't think it will hurt him,but it won't be absorbed so will not do him any good. Also, make sure your chick feed is non medicated.

I don't think it's lethal just doesn't work like the plain what ever it is they do to make it flush free. Can you find Nutritional yeast. I hate to make you run all over but it has better B's concentration than Brewers yeast. Natural food store close by?

IMO the nutritional yeast is much easier. Do you have other ducklings too? You can just sprinkle it on everyone's feed and don't have to worry bout toxic levels like you do drugstore niacin. Any health food store and most grocery stores carry it. Wal-Mart usually has brewer's yeast, although mine didn't but I've seen lots of post of ppl Getting it there.

@ Miss Lydia Looks thin to me too but can't tell from pic for sure. Niacin can cause them not too gain muscle mass, but do you think it is lacking protein? I know all flock feed has higher protein level than starter. Is it too young for All Flock Feed? I thought they said it was 2 months

I start hatchlings on All Flock crumbles and have never had a problem with it.

Wild Oats , Whole Foods GNC and most Kroger Grocery stores carry nutritional yeast

Looks kinda like fish food flakes in a grated Parmesan cheese container

Never seen it at the Walmart closest to us I have always had to order Nut yeast on line but I don't think I'd want to wait even a few days and not give this ducklings some NY. Hopefully the OP can find some close by. Then order on line.
