How do you do the massages? My brahma is injured somehow, it happened overnight while they were in the coop, just the same with Arrow Strike I am not finding any breaks, she keeps it all curled up and lays on her right side. I am dumbfounded

I just got done reading and looking at all your pics. They are so cute together and in the last pics his comb looks a lot better.

I'm glad to see he's doing better.

Brush back the feathers and look at the skin...I found A LOT of bruising under his skin..... For the first 2 days, I made a "shoe" out of a band aid to help keep his toes from curling.

Then after those 2 days I started massaging the areas that were bothering Him.
I first soaked the wounds in warm Epsom salt solution for 10 minutes ( to help clean and relax the joints and muscles (I do the soaks and massage therapy Twice a day).....
Then I would use vasaline on my fingers (to help make it easier to glide over the areas when massaging, and to help moisturize his skin)
Since he is so small I only used my thumb and pointer finger to massage his leg and foot area...I applied gentle pressure and went slow (as to not hurt him more)....
I then massaged his Hip, Wing and comb, to help increase blood flow an relieve pain....and as you can see in the pictures; It really helped relax him, and allowed him to get some good sleep

Hope this help you...If you have any more question, please feel free to PM me

He even tried to fly (but was not able to get very high at this point in time...)

Tomorrow I am going to put him an Bella back outside to play for the day and see how he does.....But hearing him CROW is music to my ears !!!! It lets me know that he is feeling better.....
I STRONGLY believe that the Massage Therapy that I was and still am doing TWICE a day...has been a HUGE help in his fast recovery, and Highly suggest that anyone else in this boat does the same thing !

God Bless,
Laura
