Help!! Pip baby coming tomorrow!!!

I have a broody hen that has been sitting on her eggs faithfully. My problem is I have a pip and it is due tomorrow!! BUT she has 4 more eggs that are not due till Friday. Do I move the chick when it hatches? I have heard that once one hatches she will get off the other eggs to care for the new chick. I'm torn and don't know what to do. PLEASE HELP!! I'm running out of time.

It depends on the hen. I have had some stay on nest and not take care of chick and then opposite and leave the nest day or two after the first one hatches. So I have had to put rest of eggs in incubator or take the chick and put it in a brooder.

I went out this morning and the egg hatched. I notice my hen was pecking at the baby pretty hard so I removed it and put it in the brooder. Hope it does ok. Now we will wait until Friday for the other 5!
