I have a few that have some really thick shells, only after a few days I was unable to see while candling. The thinner shells already hatched 1-2 days ago. Should I give these a starter crack at the air cell?

There is a theard that Sallysunshine has that really answer alot of questions it is Diary and notes air cell detached shipped eggs it has very detailed answers to a whole lot of things you might try looking on there

I really don't want to read 890 pages looking for this answer.

If you lift the egg to your ear can you hear any peeping or scratching? I had some in my last hatch that I had to do a starter crack for. I could hear them peeping and scratching but there were no pips. I had to assist. One was totally weak and didn't make it but the other is alive and well but wouldn't be if I had left it. Good luck!

Earlier today I could hear movement in all of them with a stethoscope. Now I can only hear activity in one of them.
