Help planning my chick order PLEASE !!!!!!!!!

My Feed store is having chicks arriving soon.
I am choosing from the breeds I dont already have :

Araucana
Buff orpington
Golden laced wyandote

I will decide which ones or how many each depending on their egg laying and other advice.
I know that buff orpingtons get broody often but how about the other 2?
Which one is a better egg layer, in your experince ?
Strong and week points for each of these breeds please........

I have Buff Orpington and Silver Laced Wyandotte and my SLW are not very good layers at all. The BO are though. They lay very nice brown eggs. But that could just be mine.

Buff orpingtons are sweet birds,and if they go broody make great mothers,mine are pretty birds that add color to the flock.I have easter eggers,their green eggs are fun to give to kids,I wish I had real Araucana for the blue eggs.

I have a Buff Orphington and a Silver-Laced Wyandotte. They are both great layers so far, but they have only been laying for me since Christmastime. My Orphington has laid every day this week, and my Wyandotte has laid every other day.

The Wyandotte is a bit skittish and not as social, but she is still pretty sweet. My Orphington is the boss lady but still lets the kids pet her.

I've had all of the breeds you listed, and loved them each for different reasons. My BOs were sweet and great layers, and they made the most precious mommas. My Wyandottes were GORGEOUS (I had blue laced red, still miss them ) friendly and were great little layers too. My EEs weren't very friendly, but they added alot of variety to my flock since they all looked a bit different and those blue and green eggs were alot of fun. My kids took a couple dozen eggs to school for Dr. Seuss day and they were a huge hit. So, I say add some of each to your flock! Good luck with your peepers!

The feed store is getting the chicks from a hatchery and they say araucanas are the same as americaunas.
I read that you just get a mix of something as an EE so it doesnt matter what you want.
Thanks to all you guys` advice I will just get from every breed and enjoy them

Try a couple of each! Everybird has its individual personalities and abilities. If you don't like them, cull them!
