Help please 5 week old chick with painful injured toe.

Hello,
I have a 5 week old Cuckoo Maran pullet that has a injured toe, it looks as though she has a scratch across her middle toe. She will walk on it, but also keeps pulling it up against her body. What can I do for her to not only heal it, but make her feel better? When she hatched the toes on her right foot curled under, but I fixed that with a boot, but she still seems to step on her left foot once in a while, and I'm thinking her nail on her right foot may have caught the middle toe on her left foot causing the scratch.

I don't know. I would put peroxide on it, but that might not be good for a peep... Anybody else???

ETA I would dry the peroxide off before letting her go...don't want her to ingest it.
