Redhen do yourself a favor go to radio shack and buy a knob for 1/4 inch/6mm shaft it will make future adjustment s much easier with something with a pointer and a better tactile feel. It also makes setting up for your next batch easier as you will remember the location of the pointer. I had plenty of guitar knobs so that was the first thing I did with my LG.

okay...she has zipped now!..

..down the side of the egg...and is trying to zip at the bottom of the shell...(where it lays on the bottom of the bator) is that okay, if she zips that way?? thanks for any help! i am for sure not sleeping tonight!..

Woo hoooo!!!! Great news! You've got two eggs in there, right? I mean one chick and one egg? Any news on the other egg yet? Of course she'll make it!! She got out by herself, right? I know what you mean about not getting any sleep. LOL

okay..for the other egg....i just candled it..because, there are no pips in it.... and this one is out of the shell already..and my temps/humidity are high enough to lift the lid for a second....so, anyways this other egg is packed full!..and no pips in the air sack...but..there does look like a back is pushed into it...i did see some slight movement....is it turned the wrong way in the shell?....UGH!...
