Help please! Call ducks and chickens

Hi, I recently got some two month old Buff Orpington hens and was planning to house them with my two week old call ducklings (when they get a little bigger) but when I introduced them, the ducklings would waddle right up and start to peck at the hens! I was shocked that they weren't afraid of the bigger Will the curious ducklings grow out of this behavior or will I have to house them separately? I don't want either of them to get injured.

Cute birds!

I would try penning the two near one another, with a piece of chicken wire between them, and when they get use to one another putting them together. This lets them see but not interact together.
The ducklings are probably just curious, but if they see the chicks every day the curiosity should eventually go away.
