HELP Please. chick not hatchin...

I have a very lonly chick that hatch yesterday and another eggthat when i candle it, it is so full i can't c a thing inside of it. my chick needs a companion of it's own kind.
it will be day 22 for the egg at 5 PM today.
i hear nothing and i c nothing. when can i gently put a pip in the egg myself encase the shell is maybe to thik???
please help.

well , wait atleat till day 24 but somtimes they are late and somtimes you know , lets not think like that but im sure he will hatch

I am in the exact same situation as you....I don't know what to do either...I want to take them out and see if there is any movement but afraid to mess w/ the humidity...maybe candling w/ a damp paper towel over them?

You should leave them in the incubator, opening up the bator to candle most likely shrink wrapped the chick in the egg. Its important not to open up the incubator until the hatch is finished. Chicks can stay in the incubator for up to 24 hours.
