Hi All,
We are very new to raising backyard chickens and just a few weeks ago purchased 9 and last week received 4 more. One of our Ameracaunas is now about 7 weeks old and has a watery discharge coming from her right eye. She seems to be eating and drinking well and I haven't noticed any strange smells or other spots or anything on here.
I am concerned with the appearance around her eyes though. I don't know if it just looks wet from the discharge or if she is losing feathers as well.
Any thoughts? Thanks so much for any help! We've all grown to love these gals and I thought this would be a piece of cake! I'm worried sick now that we may not be doing something right. Her eye looks a bit cloudy in the first pic, but I think that's just a glare. It is a clear discharge.
