We have four 7 week chicks. We've just switched them from chick crumble food to the pellets. But they won't eat it! Will they start? It's so much bigger than the old food!

Thanks in advance,
Joanna

Try mixing a little milk with them in a bowl, or yogurt. They will gobble it up!

pellets might actually be too big for them... are they bantams?

try soaking them in a little milk or water

also, you might try crushing them up a bit first. then once they get the idea, you can start mixing in whole pellets.

I'll try the yogurt thing. That's really okay to give them?
(Thank you!)

PS. No, they're not bantams.

mine did the same so i went back to crumble and had to give them pellets when they got larger~
it's starter pellets right? Starter till they lay their first egg

Yogurt will help, they LOVE that stuff~

I tried the yogurt thing and they cleared it all. But I'll only do it once a day. Hoping to get them on the normal pellets. Thanks, all!
