I’ve got 5 eggs in lock down. The first pip was yesterday morning. By yesterday evening 4/5 were pipped.

This morning they’re zipping but that one last egg who is still moving a bit (and seemed alive) still had not pipped yet. He’s got to be running out of air by now right?

Do I just leave it alone and let it die or is there something I can do to help?

I don’t want it to die if it doesn’t have to :(

It's fine. Normal for the hatch to last 2-3 days. You might have a spot in the incubator that is just .5* cooler and it will take an extra day. Don't touch. The air sack gives it enough air while it rest.

Thanks! I’ve made my husband put a safety hole in because I was too worried about it.

I’ve got 3 babies out now and just the two to go.

My toddler is absolutely in love already.

They are so stinking cute. The one that ended up with the safety hole has play leg so she’s got a band-aid hobble on for now :(
