How can you tell with the bantam just curious I was going off the comb and for the buff Orpington I was going for the feet and comb and also the noises it makes sound more like a roo

At 8 weeks, yes.

Combs for both, and the scruffier appearance/uneven feather coloring of the Buff Orp suggests male and growing up fast- soon to start getting his male-specific feathering.
