This is only the second day the chickens have been free ranging and we've only been living here 2 months I was just watching them play and one jumped up onto the step of the old bach out the back and I remembered I'd seen some old rat bait pellets there. I went over shooed her away and there were no pellets left.

They would have been pretty old pellets,

Is there anything I can give the chickens?

Or do I say goodbye?

I don't remeber there being any more than half a handful scattered over the step.

I don't know if it was just her that ate them or if they were shared.

But she was looking around for more

ETA - there was a pile of leaves on the step too - there may have been some hidden

I don't know if this will work for rat bait pellets, but you can try extracting them from her crop before she digests most of it. I don't know how long it has been since they ingested the pellets. If it has only been an hour or so, you can pour oil down into her crop and massage the contents up through her esophagus and out of her mouth. You may just have to wait it out. I'm terribly sorry, but you may want to prepare for the worst. Keep an eye on them and if you notice any weird symptoms, you may have to put them out of their suffering since rat poisons cause neurological damage (slow death).

I would guess give her about a teaspoon of peroxide to induce vomiting, then follow up tomorrow with vitamin K. Although I am not really sure...anyone else?

My guess is no longer than half an hour, as I just left to pick up son from school and they were pecking on the other side of the house then.

She won't let me near her either, I haven't hand raise these birds and they won;t let you pick them up

Can a chicken throw up? I know they can spit up if their crop is squished, but I don't know if they can really throw up...

Again, if it has been more than an hour, I don't think this would work because the digestion process inside the crop would already be breaking down the pellets.
