HELP please! Internal pip 25 hours ago, no external pip

Hey sorry, I haven't gotten any notifications on here so I thought nobody replied! Yesterday around 3am i was finally able to see that he was tapping on the shell with his foot, not beak! His beak was facing away from the shell. I chipped a few pieces of the shell off to see how

Malpostitioned he was. His foot was completely over his face and he was completely shrinkwrapped, everything except his face and foot. I got him out of there safely around 6am yesterday. He had some trouble walking for a few hours but hes eating, drinking, playing and following me around now! I'm so thankful for this site or I never would have known. I was freaking out the whole time about blood or yolk sac but he was fine!

I am still so blown away that he made it! My friend has geese, ducks, and chickens on her farm and said this egg wasnt going to make it because it was found out on the ground pretty far from the nests and she doesn't intervene if the moms dont keep them. She let me have it and I've just been hoping ever since, neither of us sure how old the egg was or how long it was abandoned. When s/he is a little older hes going back to that farm so I can visit all the time.

She has a few different types of geese, but says this one must be embden (not sure how to spell that)

That's so awesome... you've have a great experience doing this and being able to return him to the farm and visit when you want is a great set up! :wee

I wish I could post a video! It has been a great experience and I've gotten so attached so I'm glad I can see her as an adult and she can be with the other geese! My kids love her too. My 4 year old was so surprised when a goose came out of that egg lol, I dont think he got that there was really a living animal in there haha
