HELP please! Internal pip 25 hours ago, no external pip

Goose egg was internally piped yesterday when I checked it at 4pm. When I came back from the store I heard chirping around 8pm. I can also hear tapping and chirping still. I candled and it looks like its ...flapping its wings? inside the shell. I also am unsure of where the beak is, I am seeing 2 things that look like the moving beak. This is my first time hatching a goose. Is this normal? I have read the hatching guide but it has now been over the 24 hours the hatching guide said it takes. I am trying not to freak out! Please, any advice is greatly appreciated.

Geese take ages, just like ducks. They can take 48 hours or more. I had two ducklings internally pip two days ago and they hatched this morning. Duckling three is still working his way out.

EDT: As for the two things that look like beaks... Originally, I was going with, "mouth opening and closing, still absorbing the yolk" but if you could post a picture, that would be good.

Its not abnormal for a goose to go longer than 24 hours from internal to external pip. However, I recommend you make an emergency air hole in the aircell to ensure it has enough oxygen to hold it over till it hatches.

Thanks! These are screen caps from a video I took a few hours ago. I have labeled the 2 objects that keep moving. #1 is maybe a foot, wing, beak? #2 looks like its moving in a pecking motion but it doesnt always look like it's actually hitting the shell. How long will the air inside keep him alive? I'm worried if I make a safety hole too soon he will dry out and get stink wrapped, but worried if I dont make a hole it will suffocate. Also, not positive of the beaks location so that worries me.

I usually put in a safety hole for geese, because I've had a lot of them turn and block their air cell on me and suffocate themselves. A small safety hole won't hurt anything and if the gosling is able to progress normally beyond that, it will do so.

I usually make it at the top of the air cell, so that the gosling isn't able to accidentally block it when turning to zip.

Thanks so much! I have to find supplies to do this. Any suggestion on what would work in a pinch? I have those pins that youd use in sewing, will that work? And if so, do I do just a hole the size of the pin prick?
