Help please mama hen pecked at pipped egg now its bleeding

It's likely weak from that hatching ordeal... that was not a "normal" process. You have 1-3 days of built-in food/water but you will want to try to get it drinking vitamin water as soon as you can. Just don't force it, unless it is near-death weak- if it isn't putting it's head up / back when you are giving it water it's not ready yet.

Also, you should see if mom will take her under her wing (literally!). She'll have the best chance if she is accepted by momma hen. But watch carefully, you'll know pretty quick if momma is going to accept it or not, and if it is not you will need to get it out of there quickly because she will bowl it over and even hen peck it.

I tried to reunite the chick with mama but she wouldn't have it! Pecking aggressively at it, so it's back in the garage all alone:(. It's doing really well today.

As long as you are supervising, you can try again- but likely she has made up her mind as to who her chicks are at this point... looks like YOU are momma hen this time around!

She will mother then for anywhere from 4-8 weeks... you'll know when she's kind of putting them out there on their own. When she starts detaching from the rest of the chicks you can probably quickly introduce your loaner then. The same-age chicks will band together pretty easily.
