I thought it could be because she is hot. This chick is a lot bigger and stronger than the 2 other chicks her age. i got all my current chicks a week or so apart from each other so since I noticed the biggers ones were stepping on and hurting the tiny and younger ones I split them up into two different brooders side by side. Both sides got their own heating lamps but I unplugged the lamp above my big chicks brooder because I'm worried my one chick is too hot, i think it's panting but it happens when she's sleeping too and she has diarrhea for a week and a half now, she's still doing it but I'm hoping maybe it will stop once the heat dissipates a little. I don't think they will get too cold either because they still get some light and heat from the smaller chicks heating lamp since they're so close together. But i don't know what could be wrong with her if it isnt the heat bothering her. Does anyone know what it could be?
