Help please, my chickens are sick, nothing is working

definately, I will post on how they are doing... Now I am looking to see which powder safeguard dewormer to use, for dogs, goats, beef? Nothing is ever ease.....lol Anyone know?
You can also use Zimecterin for horses. Its a paste, and you use a small pea sized for larger birds, and a half that for bantams. I know they Vet said to deworm "Just in case", however, unless he/she actually did a poop check on the four sick birds you brought in, I would not worm. Deworming is stressful on the bird as it is and they are already ill. I'd personally take a several fecal samples back in and have them checked first before deworming. If the load is not that great, then hold off until the symptoms of the MG are cleared up, then worm.

Sorry if you feel this is unsolicited advise... I am well meaning, I promise.

Oh wow, well am not going to cull, wondering if I can get all of them vaccinated so there are no worries, if so, anyone know of where to get the vaccine.

Chickens are seeming to be doing great, no more sick symptoms, hope they are all well now.

Does anyone know if while they are on the tylan 100 powder can the eggs be incubated, and if so does that mean the chick is going to be a carrier also? this is getting confusing!

Also, Thank you all very much for the support and valuable information! Blessings...

All of your chickens that were near the sick have been exposed. The chicks that hatch will be exposed at hatch and will probably get the illness. The birds that recover will be carriers for life. All new birds and the old birds, in times of stress, will become symptomatic. That is why a lot of people recommend euthanizing the sick birds immediately to try and stop the spread of the disease. Medications wll only alleviate the symptoms, it will not cure the illness...much like allergies/asthma in people.

So sorry that you are having to go through this. Did you have any of the new birds quarantined?

No, you do not want to incubate any eggs right now. Antibiotics can have disasterous effects on the growing fetus. You would need to wait a month before collecting eggs.

There is a young man here, farmerboy (Daron) who has rebuilt his whole flock to be MG free. He did a dip on the eggs and hatched out MG free chicks. HOWEVER, since you have no plans to cull, then you will have the MG transmitted to the chicks you want to hatch after hatching unless you take some extreme caution and extreme practices. I think this would make chicken keeping a very unpleasant thing then...

Oh, and no on the vaccine too... They've already been exposed so will continue to be carriers. I am not sure how much vaccinations would cost on any new birds before exposure. That is not a guarantee against it though, from my understanding. I could be wrong on the vaccine aspect however.

The vaccine for the MG will make you cry. I just ordered mine and it's $97.49 a bottle. Then it has to be kept cold so there's a charge for icepack and cooler. I didn't have it in my flock but I don't want it either. The price was worth it to me.
