HELP please! New hatchling has something bloody hanging from backend!

Yay :) did your other eggs hatch? Is the lump any better?
On my chick the red/bloody parts scabbed, and the yolk was much more visible. I was worried about infection, so I dabbed it with neosporin, but looking back I dont think that was necessary unless it was open and/or bleeding.

And actually....
At about 1.5weeks I wanted to put my chick in the outdoor coop-brooder, she was active but still had a lump butt... I sprayed it with blukote. Regretted it-her whole rear was purple and I couldn't tell (unless holding her close) if she had pasty butt. Shes about 5 weeks old now, can't see a lump anymore, but her butt feathers are still a little purple :p

So far 4 hatched....3 more pippied....and one more to go after that!

I don't know if any of you will see this...but this is Little Jack...the baby everyone helped me with! Happy and healthy little 2 month old!
