Help Please - One of our Geese is sick/hurt

Vet which was amazing, did it for free as a "training" for his staff. She had something all twisted up around her intestines, she must have ate a string or something. I feel horrible about it, we had to put her down. She was very sweet, and now my Male is upset. Looking for a new friend for him.

Sorry for your loss! Is there no way to flush out something like a string?
And cudos to that veterinarian to take care on your pet for free - even if it was a terrible task to do…

I am very sorry you lost her but there was nothing you all could have done bless her heart. That was so nice of the vet to care for her for free. I hope you can find your gander a new mate. Might check out your states thread at “where am I where are you” here in BYC
