So I found 2 abandoned Muscovy duck eggs and I've had them incubation one unfortunately didn't make it to the incubator the other Ives had for 2 weeks until about 2 days ago where it internally pipped it had been over 24 hours so I thought I would give it a safety hole cause it had not externally pipped yet. With another day gone by and disregarding all DO NOTS I rushed the hatch as it had been over 40 hours my Muscovy is well alive and chirping but I think I've cut it a little to much and blood has been drawn I haven't touched it in over 2 hours, im not entirely sure what to do now please help!!!:(((

it seems to be stuck in the inner membrane and can't really move around the "shrink wrap" I think it's called

If it is stuck in the membrane you need to get a qtip wet it and lightly wet the membrane, also you can get a hot wet rag and cover it up so it stays humid when it is outside the incubator, Also make sure it is humid enough in the incubator ,if its not this is why shrink wrap happens form not enough humidity. I don't have ducks i am just referring to my incubation with chicks so i am not entirely sure but isn't the same?
Hope this helps!

Thank you! I feel like he/she can't move cause the membrane is to tight, and when I tired pulling it away so it could maneuver around it, the veins started to bleed will the moistening help thin out the membrane it seems very elastic and stretchy that the duck can't seem to get around

Do not try to remove the membrane! Keep it moist, but do not try to remove it. The veins need to recede, the lungs need to adjust to breathing, and the yolk needs to finish absorbing. The whole process can take anywhere from a few hours to 24 hours after the external pip. The chick will get out of the egg when it's ready. Just keep the membrane moist.

If it has already been over 24 hour since external pip (since I started chipping away) how long does it take for the veins to recede
