help.. please say no!!

I am pretty new to guessing the difference between cockerals and pullets, but yours looks like a cockeral. I'm thinking this because of the size of the comb and wattles. He looks like one of the RIR cockerals we have, who is about 4 mos old.

Hopefully, someone with more experience will jump on to help you out.

will this effect my other 4 hopefully hens? i mean if one day he is just gone,, will the others be bothered?

the other four are 12 weeks and 8 weeks old.

Might be a dumb question, but are there any roosters that aren't terribly loud, and if you do have one that you might have to get rid of, is there any way to keep him quiet or tone him down a bit?

No the hens would not be bothered by a missing rooster. Sometimes they would enjoy a roo=less life LOL!

found a home for the little guy.. a nice lady who has 6 rir hens.. about a month younger than him.. gladly took him in...

poor guy/... gonna miss him.. but not the crowing..
