Just received chicks today from My Pet Chicken and my Mille Fleur can't walk. I initially thought it was splay leg and made a little brace with a rubber band and straw but reading more I think it may be a slipped tendon in one or both legs.

I tried stretching her leg out and I can carefully straighten it, not sure if I'm moving the tendon correctly? And I'm just feeling awful because I can tell the chick is in pain. She's walking on her hocks with a hopping motion. Any advice is appreciated!!

You can try putting it in a smaller container with a folded up square of paper towel in the bottom. The chick than has something to push up against and brace against. I would take it out to eat and drink hourly. Usually if it's going to help you can see progress in a day or so.

Thank you! I'm thinking it may be a slipped tendon now ☹️

I would still try. You may also want to give it a drop of poultry vitamins daily for a bit to see if it helps.
I tried wrapping her legs with the tendon in the right spot and put her in a cup with paper towel in the bottom. Plus dinner tray. I might try and find a avian vet tomorrow. I don't want to cull 😥
