Snuggles is 2 yrs old silkie. Was broody for all of july, came out finally has had 3 eggs since, but weight is declining (from 1107 to 1065 since after broody). Her poops have always been on the loose side, so i didnt think anything, but then she leaked some clear thickish fluid while I was carrying her and later that day was under the tree by herself. I gave her an epsom bath, her butt was just a little crusty but not like the pics for vent gleet. She seemed ok afterwards but a couple days later she was facing the corner by herself, had her head down and butt up. Gave another epsom bath, started some research thought maybe its was gleet, treated her w miconazole cream 2 x /day on her vent area for one day so far. She has brown diarrhea. Was last wormed end of February. Acts normal when shes not in the corner or under the tree, each bath after was fine for a day or so.

I’ve searched and searched and am wondering how to proceed, should I continue w monistat, give an antibiotic for bacteria infections, wormer or all three in which order? I don’t think her vent looks inflamed, but am unsure, maybe missing some feathers. No one else has like symptoms.

Please post some photos of her, her poop and vent.
Thank you.

Leaked clear fluid from where when you picked her up - vent or beak?

Look her over for lice/mites, consider deworming again.
Make sure her crop is emptying overnight, if it's not emptying, then treat according to the article below.

See that she's eating a nutritionally balanced poultry feed and drinking well.

Could you get a picture of her?
Is she eating and drinking?
Check her crop early in the morning and make sure it's empty, just to rule out crop issues.
She is eating/drinking well, started electrolytes this evening, checking her crop in the morning. Not a great pic, I had just cleaned her and put monistat on, her vent is pulsing though. You can see its sticking out a bit, but wasnt dirty, just thought it should be very clean when I put the medication on. Shes asleep now

Leaked from her vent, she eats organic layer pellets and is quite a pig. Eating and drinking well, just started electrolytes. Will check crop in the am. We had previously had tapeworms (twice), used safegard liquid for goats fenbendazole in February, was planning on using zimecterin gold next. Is that appropriate at this point and would I continue with monistat? I posted vent pics above, will get other in the am. but its brown liquid hardly any white. Seems to have advanced bc it wasnt so loose b4. Thank you!

Her crop was empty this am, don’t see any bugs on her, looked under wings/vent. Overnight poop definitely doesn’t look the same as I was describing, I will get another pic later. Thank you again!

Crop emptying is very good!

I don't see anything in the photos that makes me think Vent Gleet.
Vent Gleet is a continuous yeasty, pasty discharge from the vent and it's usually a white color.

Poop looks normal with white urates. Hard to tell if those are Tapeworm proglottids in the poop or if it's polished oyster shell and keratin sheaths. Do you see anything move in her poop?

Safeguard (Fenbendazole) is good for treating most worms that poultry can have except for Tapeworms. For Tapeworms you need to use Prazinquantel, so the Zimectrin Gold would be a good choice. Dosing is found HERE.

Ok, I guess I thought bc of the leak (twice) and her holding her butt up weird, by herself w the diarrhea was a vent issue.

I dont think so, but I will look tomorrow morning for movement. If theres no movement shall I still treat w zimerectin gold ? shes 2 &1/2 pounds so that would be .15 ml correct?

Thank you so much, you've helped me before and I really appreciate it.

Yes, that's the correct dose.
If you notice proglottids moving in the poop, then I'd treat her.
