You can see better in the last picture I posted. His head is leaning over to the right side but it looks like the swelling is on his left.

We are going to our local co-op and going to get some multi vitamin and see if that helps. Have an app with vet on Monday. Just hope the problem isn't fatal. We will be heartbroken as these are our first ducks.

I don't think vitamins will help, but they won't hurt. As long as he's drinking, eating, pooping and *not* losing weight I think *maybe* he'll be okay until Monday, but if he's lost *any* weight or isn't eating/drinking/pooping normally, you should get him to a vet today.

I can't thank you enough for all of the help. Unfortunately we can't see the vet until Monday. I don't think he has lost weight. He is eating and drinking but hasn't been pooping as much as usual. It's going to be a long weekend waiting for vets appt.

Keep him in a warn, quite, safe place with access to food and water that he can't drown in. And if you can, get a baseline weight on him, weigh him tomorrow and give that data to the vet on Monday.

How is your duck? He is beautiful, I hope the problem is resolved. What did the vet say?
