I need help. I am on day 3 and have realized that my egg turner isn't working. Is it too late to start turning eggs or should I start over with new eggs? If I turn them by hand, how often and what's the best way to turn them? Thanks!

I'm not sure but I think you will be fine. Start hand turning them now. I believe they should be turned every four hours. Put a x on one side and a o on the other side so you know which one have been turn and which one need turning. I have never hand turned so not sure but I think that is about right. My auto turner does it every four hours.

They should be fine at day 3. Many people that do shipped eggs will hold off turning for the first 1-4 days of incubation to try to "heal" air cells. Most people put an "x" on one side of the egg and an "o" on the other so that they know the eggs all got turned and they are being rotated 180Degrees. I hand turn myself out of preference. I make sure I get 3 turns in a day. If I can squeeze a couple more in I do 5, but usually it's 3.
